The following chanters are for sale, some of them are made from very rare Australian tonewoods.

Concert Chanter 1, made from local olive wood on the Fleurieu Peninsula. Olive wood has been used for centuries to make musical instruments, and why not it has a lovely sound. I’m asking $1500 Australian dollars for this olive chanter.

This concert chanter I made from Mulberry wood, a friend in the Barossa Valley gave me a lovely piece of Mulberry wood. Mulberry wood is a lovely tonewood, the timber is very hard with a lovely grain. This chanter has a high C key, and a stop key. I’m asking $2500 Australian dollars for this chanter.

This chanter I made from a rare Australian desert timber called Buloke. It is a lovely hardwood with a stunning grain. As far as I know I am the only Uilleann pipemaker in the world to use this timber. A great opportunity to buy a rare instrument. I’m asking $2000 Australian dollars for this chanter.

This next chanter I made from a rare Australian timber called Dead Finish. It’s a lovely tonewood, and the grain in the wood is stunning, this piece has a pink hue on the front of the chanter. I’m asking $1500 Australian dollars for this chanter.

This next concert chanter I bought some years back from Andy May in Newcastle Upon Tyne. It’s made of boxwood with imitation ivory mounts. It has four keys and plays well in tune. A great opportunity to buy a great instrument without a long waiting time. I’m asking $1700 Australian dollars for this chanter.

This chanter I made from African Wenge wood, it has an amazing grain pattern and the chanter has a lovely bright sound.
